2015 TONY AWARDS

Bruce Willis y Mary-Louise Parker fueron los actores encargados de desvelar el pasado Abril la relación de nominados a los Premios Tony, los más esperados por toda la industria teatral, equivalentes a los Oscars cinemtaográficos, los Emmy para las producciones televisivas o los Grammy para la industria musical y por fin anoche 7 de Junio de 2015, en la ceremonia que se celebró como es habitual en el Radio City Music Hall de New York, presentada por Kristin Chenoweth y Alan Cumming, se dieron a conocer los ganadores.

Partían como favoritos “AN AMERICAN IN PARIS” y “FUN HOME” con 12 nominaaciones cada uno, seguidos de “SOMETHING ROTTEN!“ con 10 y ¨THE KING AND I“ con 9 nominaciones y lo cierto es que estuvieron bastante repartidos un doble empate a 5 premios para “FUN HOME” y , “THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME” y para “An American in Paris” y “The King and I”.

Uno de los momentos más anunciados era la actuación de Josh Groban interpretando “You’ll never walk alone” del musical “CAROUSEL“, en recuerdo a todos los compañeros de la profesión que nos dejaron el año pasado, que terminó con un grupo coral formado por todos los cantantes que habián participado en la gala.
