DISNEY Legacy Collection

Finalmente parece que Disney se ha empezado a dar cuenta de que hay un mercado para los Bandas Sonoras de sus películas y tras mucho tiempo dando la espalda a editar los CDs de las películas que producía, debe haber sido a raíz de ver que otras distribuidoras, les querían comprar los derechos de sus películas, para editar unas bandas sonoras soñadas por los aficionados durante muchos años, como “Colmillo blanco” (White Fang) de Basil Poledouris y Hans Zimmer o “El abismo negro” (The Black Hole) de John Barry, por citar algunas, ahora se han decidido a sacar ediciones más completas de sus clásicos de dibujos animados, con los scores completos hasta ahora inéditos.

Los tres primeros discos puestos en el mercado han sido “Mary Poppins” (Junio 2014) de los Sherman Brothers, “The Lion King” (Agosto 2014) de Elton John y Hans Zimmer entre otros y “Sleeping Beauty” (Octubre 2014) y ya tienen anunciado “The Little Mermaid” (Noviembre 2014) de Alan Menken, así que habrá que seguir esta colección que promete ediciones llenas de rarezas y cosas inéditas.

Crucemos los dedos para que vayan bien las ventas y se animen con las bandas sonoras de imagen real, que también tienen a donde acudir.

Y para el mes que viene….. “LA SIRENITA” (The Little mermaid), aunque posiblemente para este título será más defícil de que se encuentre material inédito, ya que en las ediciones dedicadas a Alan Menken, la caja de “The music behind the magic” con 4 CDs y sucesivas ediciones, deben haberlo sacado todo, pero por si acaso, habrá que estar ojo avizor.

Y no perder de vista las posteriores ediciones anunciadas.
